Marie and Peter met in nursing school at Immaculata. They first connected late on Christmas night in 2022. After going to adoration together, they talked for hours in the car about important values they shared. Their first date was sunrise at Marsh Creek State Park in January 2023, and they have been inseparable since. Since then, they have enjoyed going on adventures together, hiking, trips to the lake, visiting family, and of course, returning to their roots of adoration together.


Peter proposed on July 23rd in front of our favorite Holy Family statue at Malvern Retreat House. Its a place of great meaning to us and a beautiful depiction of St Joseph cradling Mary and Jesus. Peter gifted Marie a drawing of this statue last Christmas. It can be found in the form of a prayer card inside of the save-the-date envelopes.
