1. How do I get to the venue?

GETTING TO THE WEDDING VENUE [ From Roissy Charles De Gaulle airport by renting a Car: ] Distance: Approximately 50 km (about 45 mins drive). Steps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/BUK8M7kMvRQBCowQ6 1. After landing, rent a car from one of the car rental agencies at Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). 2. Drive along Rue de la Fossette and Les Vignes 1 min (850 m) 3. Take N1104, D212, N3 and A140 to Rue de Magny Saint-Loup/D228 in Quincy-Voisins. Take exit 2 from A140 28 min (33.4 km) 4.Follow D228 and D15 to Chem. du Moulin in Pommeuse 17 min (17.3 km) Alternatively [From Roissy Charles De Gaulle airport by public transport] Steps: 1. Take RER B at Airport Charles de Gaulle 1/2 (Terminal 1/2) toward Paris Gare du Nord (30mins) 2. Get off at Gare du Nord and transfer to RER E from Magenta in the direction of Tournan en Brie. (45mins) 3. At Gare de Tournan en Brie, switch to the Transilien Line P train towards Coulommiers. (15mins) 4. Stop at Mortcerf station. (Marie's home village) from there we will help you getting to the venue. [From Paris city by public transport] 2. From Gare du Nord/ Magenta take RER E from in the direction of Tournan en Brie. (45mins). 3. At Gare de Tournan en Brie, switch to the Transilien Line P train towards Coulommiers. (15mins) 4. Stop at Mortcerf station. (Marie's home village) from there we will help you getting to the venue. or 1. from Gare de L'Est take Transilien Line P train towards Coulommiers. (45mins) 2. Stop at Mortcerf station. (Marie's home village) from there we will help you getting to the venue By Car: Renting a car gives flexibility for exploring the nearby areas or returning late. By Train: Public transport is cost-effective and avoids traffic but may take slightly longer and require coordination from Mortcerf to the wedding venue. (please let us know if you choose this option) Both options offer straightforward routes depending on your preferences.

2. What will the weather be like this time of year?

At the begining of August, temperatures in Paris typically range from 18°C to 26°C, though they can occasionally rise higher during heatwaves. The weather is generally warm and pleasant, but evenings can be cooler.

3. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

4. CAN I BRING A DATE?

Unfortunately due to the size of our guest list, we cannot accommodate extra people at the wedding. We kindly request that you RSVP, as we are only able to accommodate those who are listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the bride or groom directly. Thank you for your understanding.

5. ARE KIDS WELCOME?

We would love to have children join us on our special day, and they are most welcome! However, please note that we can only accomodate those listed on your invitation, and we will not have childcare or a babysitter on-site during the wedding. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can make suitable arrangements for your little ones to ensure everyone's comfort and enjoyment.

6. Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — However, if you wish to give a gift, we will gratefully accept a small contribution towards our honeymoon.
