Stephen and I met briefly in Fall of 2015 but didn't make a connection until later that year. On Sunday December 13th, our paths crossed again during dinner at a friends house (thank you Cameron). We hit it off from there! I was instantly attracted to Stephen and little did I know he had been interested in me since our brief meeting earlier in the Fall.

At the time Stephen lived in San Antonio, so he returned for a week then came back to Austin to use up the remaining vacation he had for the year. We had dinner again at Cameron's, then went out for karaoke at Ego's, one of our now favorite dive bars in Austin. We sang Ain't No Mountain High Enough and from then on we were hooked. Thankfully Berkeley approved... she might have hit it off with Stephen quicker than I did!

We were long distance for a while, and eventually were ready to move our relationship forward. In April of 2016, Stephen moved to Austin and we began our life together in the same city! The next year and a half we shared several milestones and memories that we will remember forever. From adding a 4th and 5th family member (Riggins then Beckett), to buying a house, and working together at Dell, we left a piece of our hearts in Austin.

I moved to Dallas for my career in December of 2017 and we were back to long distance again for about 8 months. It was a challenging time- but we made it through! After going back and forth between Austin and Dallas each weekend, Stephen finally made his visits to Dallas permanent in August of 2018. We got engaged on December 15, 2018 and were able to celebrate with some of our closest friends and family. Since then, Stephen has started a new career at AppDynamics and we bought a home in Lower Greenville. Our life here is just beginning, but we are so happy to finally be settled and ready to start our next chapter as husband and wife!

We have so many people to thank for bringing us together and being there for us every step of the way. We really couldn't be here without our friends and family.
