Taylor and Mariel met on a cold night in December, but the frigid air stood no chance against the warmth of their company. They immediately hit it off; small talk giving way to dreams and aspirations, teasing and humor, and even a fierce battle over the check the echoes of which continue to this day.

To Taylor and Mariel, all seemed right with the world.
Unfortunately for the world, however, it was currently trapped in the midst of a devastating pandemic. Finding out firsthand, Taylor and Mariel both contracted the Rona around this time and were “forced” to quarantine together. Both being fun loving free spirits, they would not let a virus keep them down. They were quick to make the best of the situation and filled the time with good company, games and late-night karaoke.

As they grew to know one another they reveled in their combined wit and determination. Always Willing to tackle the next journey head on, but never forgetting to care for those around them. Both fiercely loyal and compassionate for each other, there was never a dull moment when they got together.

Over the next few months, they found many uncanny similarities between the two of them. A few could be likened to an interesting coincidence, but the sheer amount of these synchronicities told an unmistakable truth. Unbeknownst to them there was a serendipitous spirit in the air, and the universe was dropping playful hints that this was meant to be.

After what felt like 10,000 amazing adventures, in not nearly enough days to hold them, Taylor and Mariel were on a Magical trip to the Philippines. On a white sand beach overlooking a breathtaking ocean sunset, he finally popped the question!

Not to be outdone, a short time later in the majestic mountains of Colorado, she popped the question too! You will be happy to know that they Both said..
