What is the best way to RSVP? When should I RSVP by?
You can use the RSVP link on your invitation or on this page. Please RSVP no later than February 17, 2025.
I'm unable to make the wedding, will there be another celebration?
We will be having a larger reception in Arcadia, CA in May, 2025 if you are unable to make the wedding.
Is there a cocktail mixer or rehearsal dinner?
Yes, we will be having cocktails and snacks on April 16, 2025 on the patio during sunset. Please join us at 5:00pm for a few drinks and to meet the other guests! Shuttle will be available to pick up guests. Pick up will be around 4:30.
How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
We will have a shuttle picking up guests from Big Sur Lodge and Glen Oaks Big Sur, which will be able to make several trips back and forth from the venue to the hotel. Due to parking limitations at the venue, it will be required to take the shuttle. The shuttle will pick up guests at 3:15.
We will also be having the shuttle for the get together on April 16.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
We will have the shuttle arriving to the Big Sur Lodge and Glen Oaks around 3:15pm for an arrival time to Wind & Sea 3:45pm for a welcome drink before the ceremony at 4:30pm.
We will have a more accurate pick up time closer to the wedding.
What should I wear?
Cocktail Attire.
Examples include any length dresses, suits with or without a tie. Our wedding colors are dusty blue, sage green, and white, please see below for our color scheme. Feel free to dress according to our colors if you feel so inclined :)
What is on the menu?
We will be having Hors d'Oeuvres served after the ceremony which will include items such as charcuterie, and oysters. Dinner will be served family style and will include items such as salad, pasta, steak, etc. If you have any food restrictions, please let us know and we can make arrangements to accommodate.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Most of event will take place outdoors. Ceremony will take place outdoors rain or shine. In case of rain, umbrella's will be provided.
Can I bring a plus one?
We are only able to accommodate guests who have been formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out to Mariko or Kevin if you have any questions.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We are having an unplugged ceremony so we ask that you please place all phones on 'Do Not Disturb' or shut them off. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographers to be able to fully capture those special moments. Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many photos as you like.
