Our Wedding

March 24, 2022: Max couldn’t resist messaging a babe from Ohio whose profile came across his screen on a dating app for Christians. Marilyn thought Max didn’t seem too creepy and thought it was weird that his ideal Sunday included a steak dinner. Most importantly, she liked his statement: Jesus is my priority. May 3, 2022: A few messages, phone calls, and FaceTime dates later, Max took a couple-hundred-mile detour after attending a wedding in Florida to meet Marilyn in person. They enjoyed an epic first date at many Cleveland establishments. May 29-31, 2022: Marilyn made her way to Newport Beach for Memorial Day with the Ukropinas. June & July 2022: For their third in-person date, Marilyn crashed the Ukropina family trip to Italy for a wedding. Yawn. (It was fabulous!) Afterward, Max stopped in Cleveland to meet the Ebles. January 28, 2023: Another milestone. Max proposed in Cleveland to an unsurprised, but completely happy Marilyn.
