OUR STORY

Marina and Cory first met after Marina’s cousin Brielle’s bridal shower. Brielle and her fiancé (now husband), Taj, hosted a small gathering — and among Taj’s friends was Cory. From the moment they started talking, the conversation flowed effortlessly. The banter felt natural, and it quickly became clear they were meeting someone special. What began as a jokingly “long-distance” relationship — Cory in Manayunk, Marina in Manahawkin — soon turned into weekends together that stretched on for days. Early on, Marina introduced Cory to Tampa, Florida, and he loved it so much he eventually bought a home there. Before long, Cory brought Marina to Philadelphia, where she embraced the city’s energy and became a devoted Eagles fan — even (half-jokingly) taking credit for their 2025 Super Bowl win. Now, between city living, beach days, and sunny getaways to Florida, they’re looking forward to exploring new places, sharing new experiences, and building a lifetime of adventures together.

Things to Do

Registry

WELCOME PARTY ATTIRE: WHITE COCKTAIL

For our Welcome Party, we’re going with a White Cocktail dress code—clean, chic, and a little playful. Guests are encouraged to wear white or shades of ivory in cocktail-style attire, from breezy dresses and stylish sets to crisp shirts and tailored looks. Since we’ll be celebrating poolside, feel free to have fun with your outfit—this is your moment to keep it polished but relaxed.

WEDDING ATTIRE: TROPICAL FORMAL

Tropical Formal blends elevated wedding attire with light, beach-friendly comfort. Think breathable fabrics like linen, cotton, or chiffon in vibrant colors, soft pastels, or tropical prints. For men, this could mean a lightweight suit or dress shirt with slacks (ties optional). For women, flowy dresses or dressy jumpsuits are perfect. NOTE: Our celebration will take place on the beach and a deck, so we recommend skipping stiletto heels in favor of wedges, block heels, or dressy flats to stay comfortable on the sand and wood surfaces.
