Once upon a time…. Just kidding this isn’t just a fairy tail. This is the story of how our journey began. Marina’s (the bride) childhood best friend, Selvia, threw her a surprise birthday party at a bowling alley (photo above). All the invited people to the birthday party are now a part of the wedding team (Shout out to Selvia, Mariam, Dina, Samy, and Nassim), and a mystery guy who Marina didn’t know. This mystery guy was Jose (the Groom). Jose had just gotten off of a 12-hour shift and was very exhausted. After going home, he decided to go to the birthday party (not knowing who the birthday girl was). He showed up fashionably late to the party and after a while, he decided to walk up to the birthday girl and say “happy birthday”. Very curious about this mystery guy, Marina decided to introduce herself and thank him for the birthday wishes. Shortly after cutting the cake, both Jose and Marina found themselves having a long meaningful conversation. After the birthday party, Jose reached out to Marina and requested to follow her Instagram. The two began talking and forming a meaningful friendship. Many years later, they found themselves very comfortable together and realized that their bond was beyond just friendship. With her father’s blessing, Jose had the courage to ask Marina to marry him. Today, we are sharing this website and invitation to invite you to become a part of our story and our forever after.
