Dom and I have crossed paths multiple times within the last few years, but officially met in the summer of 2016. My first job was at Giannilli’s as a server, and I worked with mutual friends of Dom’s. I’d always hear crazy stories about him but had yet to meet him myself. Ironically, Dom’s first job was also at Giannilli’s but he had quit right before I started so we didn’t cross paths at that point.

Fast forward to our early twenties, Dom and I were out with some friends at a popular bar in Greensburg called Rialto’s. We knew a lot of the same people so we seemed to always end up in the same places together. Dom had mentioned to his friend Drew that he was interested in talking to me, so he told Dom to go talk to me but he was nervous. Drew came up to me and explained how his friend was too nervous to ask me himself, so I gave him my number to give to Dom, but didn’t hear from him for weeks. Then one day I got a text…. We went on our first date to edo hibachi. From there we kept in touch but did not officially date.

Fast forward to 2020, I had not heard from Dom at this point for close to a year. Randomly one day I get a message from Dom asking how I’ve been and what I’ve been up to. Finally, he had asked to see me again.

….And now the rest is history! We have a beautiful home, 2 precious fur babies, Athena and Apollo… and we’re getting married!! Never would I have thought things would have played out the way they did but we couldn’t be happier to be spending the rest of our lives together!
