The month is September 2016. The scene: a breathtaking, untouched, green landscape in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Just kidding. The scene: an ugly, crowded, aggravatingly loud Lehigh fraternity party. Hunter was in the back room of the party away from the dance floor when he came across a beautiful girl with dark brown hair who, if he remembers correctly, had come from a “USA” themed party nearby. He struck up a conversation with her that went fairly poorly, but well enough that she gave him her phone number. He unfortunately didn’t catch her last name. She told it to him, but Ben-Yishay sounds more like ishabKebeuxisvbak in a blaring fraternity party. Not that Askenase is much easier….

He was able to catch her first name however, Marisa, and as those that were there can attest, Hunter knew he had met someone special that night. And the very, very long story short, is that in the days and weeks that followed, Hunter and Marisa built an endearing and playful friendship, that, as the months and years rolled on, evolved into a wonderful, enduring relationship. Hunters been wrong about many things, but when he declared at 19 years old that he’d marry Marisa Ben-Yishay, he was certain he’d get this one right.
