Steve and Marisa meet online on Facebook dating during the covid shut down. When they met in person at city lounge in Cudahy. After Marisa saw those pretty blue eyes she knew she saw forever.

Marisa and Steve realized they have a lot in common from camping at The Rock Camping Resort, deer hunting, working on cars (and Marisa keeping him company), going to the county fairs (mainly to watch demo derby’s and see the animals), and traveling, whether it’s to see family and friends or just to explore!

Through loosing her father and then to moving in with Marisa’s mother and brother, the two love birds have gone through a lot in 5 years. Finally after so many years of waiting, Steven decided to ask Marisa to marry him. He took her on a fun filled date night on Valentine’s Day including mini golf, food trucks, and driving through our favorite parks. Just when the night was ending, they walked out on the break wall at Bender Park, and then Steve asked Marisa to marry him!

Through the ups and down they have created a beautiful family with little Maddy! They are ready to tie the knot and all be Strubes!

We have decided to get married in Tennessee as someday home to move to the beautiful Smokey mountains!
