We don't have any pictures together but... WE MET AT A 21 SAVAGE CONCERT! HA! The start of our love story is all thanks to Sir Savage (and Kate Asaro for introducing us). Chris was on his last day of midshipmen summer training in San Diego, Ca and Marisa was home for summer break. We ended up going to this concert and dinner together with some friends where Kate introduced us! A few months later Chris asked Marisa to Ring Dance, a Naval Academy tradition that happens at the end of junior year, and the rest is history! The worst concert we have been to was the start of our forever!

The day we started dating (also the beginning of covid)! When the world was starting to shut down, Chris flew from Iceland (where he was spending spring break) to Memphis, TN last minute to help move Marisa out of her dorm! We decided to start long distance at the beginning of our relationship, not knowing when the next time we would see each other.

Ring dance never happened, but 3 months later we got to see each other again! Marisa flew out to Annapolis, MD to meet Chris's family for the first time! And caught her first fish!

We spent all of our senior year of college doing long distance. Marisa snuck onto the Naval Academy's campus to surprise Chris with Chick-fil-a and Charlie!

Chris flew out to San Diego during winter break to meet Marisa's family for the first time!

We graduated college! We decided to end our long distance journey and both move to Charleston, SC where Marisa started her doctorate in occupational therapy at MUSC and Chris started Nuclear Power School to become a qualified nuclear power engineering officer!

We went on our first trip abroad together over winter break to France and Spain!

Chris graduated from Nuclear Power School and moved onto Prototype for his last 6 months in Charleston!

We did a short few months of long distance again while Chris was in Groton, CT for SOBC. Marisa was able to make a few trips up to the North East thanks to cheap Breeze Airlines flights!

The proposal! One of the best days of our lives at the Del Mar Cliffs in San Diego (Marisa's favorite sunset spot). We moved into our first apartment together in San Diego as Chris is stationed at Naval Base Point Loma and Marisa is completing her clinical rotations in her last year of OT school. Now it is Marisa's mission to convert Chris into a Padres fan!
