Meet the Bridal Party

Haley Carpenter
Haley Carpenter - Maid of Honor
I met Haley in 2nd grade singing in church and school choirs, and we have been friends ever since (except for our fight in 7th grade when I bought the same Coach shoes as her, and she didn't talk to me for a week). We planned on going to the University of Michigan together and being lawyers... one of us dreamed of it, and the other made it a reality. Living down the street from each other, our friendship went from competing against who would be President of the Concert choir in High School (which was impossible because Haley is the best at everything, and the only reason I got it was because Haley was out sick that day lol), to singing in A Capella groups, photoshoots and Chili U, smoothie bowls, craft nights, margaritas and the bachelorette, studying together for the LSAT and Nursing school, aggressively playing Bananagrams, and wine nights and sushi trying to convince her to move back to the midwest (Guess what Nick, the surfing is probably better on Lake Michigan anyway) Haley lives in Encinitas California with her soon-to-be husband, Nick. Walk-Up Song: Have Mercy, Astronuat in the Ocean, Bodak Yellow
Taylor Allen
Taylor Allen - Bridesmaid-Sister of the Groom
If I could have hand-picked a sister, it would still be Taylor. Taylor has a contagious energy that makes anyone want to be around her- like being at a party that you don't want to leave. She is a party waiting to happen and I am so blessed to have her as my SIL. Taylor is my go-to gal for any shopping recs, and we probably have 1 too many matching outfits. Taylor is a High School PE teacher, coaches volleyball, and lives in Franklin with her boyfriend, Derrick. Walk up song: Yeah! by Usher
Chelsea Perry
Chelsea Perry - Bridesmaid- Cousin of the Bride
Chelsea didn't have a choice whether she knew me or not, because our dads are brothers, and since we were kids, I always gravitated toward Chelsea and her sisters the most. From the time we would get to their house to the time we would leave, it was a constant party-never a dull moment. From memories of Perry Pre-Parade Parties, family reunions, The American Girl Store with Aunt Kary, swimming in the pool at 603, mutual love for ice cream, Hall of Fame Parades, donuts, and falling asleep during lunch at El Camps. Chelsea is always up for an adventure. Bike riding in 30-degree weather with 20mph winds? Sure. Going to the beach in frigid weather in November to walk? Absolutely. Chelsea lives in Canton, Ohio with her boyfriend, Phil. Walk-up song: Uptown Funk (10/10 will bust a jiggy)
Kaitlin Craven
Kaitlin Craven - Bridesmaid
Kaitlin and I met in the prime stage of 6th grade. We selflessly volunteered to make sandwiches for a homeless shelter, although it was more of an opportunity for us to see who could make the ~thiccq-est~ sandwich. We would then deliver them to the wonderful city of Waukegan, IL, and from our minivan window, we would window shop, pick which lime green or bright orange dress we would one day wear to prom (joking) and then beg my mom to stop for Starbucks on the way home. Sweet Amy could never say no. We then grew up. The simplicity of Starbucks runs became hours-long Starbucks catch-up sessions when we were both home from college, and then binge-watching the bachelorette with all of the snacks our parents would never let us eat, and choreographing our wedding entrances to the finest of music, "Bust Down Thotiana". Find Kaitlin tearing up the dance floor... she's kind of a professional or something. Kaitlin lives in Minneapolis, where she dances and teaches yoga. Walk-Up Song: The Best (Tina Turner)
Greta Breunig
Greta Breunig - Bridesmaid
Greta and I met while in the NICU together during nursing school, wandering aimlessly through the unit dumbfounded by the tiny humans. We became fast friends, and I'm pretty certain everyone needs a Greta in their life. I asked Greta to be my bridesmaid after knowing her for only 5 months. She is the most selfless person, and I am so blessed to have her as my friend. Greta works in the Neuro ICU, and lives in Milwaukee-ish with her husband, Michael. If you want to strike up a conversation with Greta, ask her about her favorite concert. Greta is next-level obsessed with Taylor Swift, and will impulsively take an exam 5 days early without studying just in case she has a chance to buy tickets. Walk-up song: Cruel Summer (Bridge only)
Kaitlyn Burgert
Kaitlyn Burgert - Bridesmaid
I met Kaitlyn when I visited Haley (MOH) at UMich. They were roommates, and I was staying with them for the Michigan State VS. University of Michigan game. Fast forward 5 years later, and have never spoken since that weekend, Haley ambush-double-face timed all of us, said "Be friends" and hung up leaving just me and Kaitlyn to talk. Kaitlyn had just moved to Milwaukee after finishing her Master's in Engineering at the University of Michigan, and we became fast friends. Kaitlyn has been there since the start of the Connor era and was there for all of the mishaps before. Kaitlyn witnessed the iconic "Who's birthday are we celebrating?" moment when Connor showed up to my apartment for my birthday pedal tavern, not having a clue it was for my birthday. Kaitlyn's work ethic is inspiring, and her ability to juggle so many things at once (work, social life, family) with such poise is admirable. She is the only person in the world who could calmly say "I have to go to Africa in 12 hours unexpectedly" because of work and not blow a fuse. True story. Kaitlyn lives in Milwaukee, thank God. Walk-Up Song: Dancing Queen
Parker Balfany
Parker Balfany - Flower Girl
Brian and Mikaela Balfany have been Connor's family friends for 15+ years. Brian worked with Connor's dad, Kevin, and lovingly supported Connor through the good, bad, and ugly, always reminding him to call him if he ever needed to be bailed out of prison (lol). Their daughter, Parker, is the sweetest 5.5-year-old you'll ever meet, with an insane sense of humor... Not sure where she got that from. When asked if she wanted to be in a wedding, Parker enthusiastically yelled "NO!!" After clarifying that she would not be the one actually getting married, but just gets to wear a pretty dress and get her hair done, she accepted, and even asked if she could live with us! We are so excited for Parker to be a part of our day.
Lydia Shaffer
Lydia Shaffer - Flower girl
Thomas Shaffer, her dad, was my babysitter for years. My brother (Jacob) and I gave Thomas a run for his money, and so it was always promised that when Thomas and his wife Jenny had kids, they would get to do the same. Little did they know, they had some huge shoes to fill, and even though they royally destroyed me in the bouncy house, shot me with Nerf guns, and left me feeling like I just lifted and swung kettle bells for 4 hours, they still haven't lived up to the trauma we inflicted on Thomas. Anyway, we love Thomas and Jenny, and we love their kids, and couldn't think of any others that would fit this role better. Don't let the age fool you, these guys are PROS.

Groomsmen

Andrew Endicott
Andrew Endicott - Best Man
Andrew and I met at Wisconsin where I was in charge of holding his balls... footballs. I was his holder. As special team guys, we spent every Friday night of the 2016 season in the team hotel watching Modern Family while the real athletes watched film or whatever. I knew we were going to be close friends when he passed up going to the AmFam Championship (hugeee golf guy) to come boating with me on the lake. He hated boats. Our intimate bond between holder and kicker became even stronger after college as we transitioned from the field to the golf course and time out on the water in FL. Andrew has become my go-to guy for the more important adult questions, and I am very excited to have him standing next to me for the big day. FYI, you can find him intently watching the Wisconsin vs. Alabama game on wedding night (poor planning on our part, I know).
Jacob Perry
Jacob Perry - Groomsman (Brother of the bride)
Jacob and I hit it off from the start. Jacob has always intended to be the "intimidating big brother" but when you put 2 softies together, intimidating is the last word that comes to mind. Jacob and I bonded quickly over football, golf, and a mutual hate for Ohio State. Our relationship moved quicker than Marisa and I, and the next thing you know, we are greeting each other with "Hey babe", ending phone calls with "I love you", and offering to share a bed. You can find Jacob at the bar or on the dance floor, drinking bourbon on the rocks like the classy man he is. He may or may not have a countdown to find a plus one... Send applicants to j21perry@gmail.com (Serious inquiries only)
Zach Hintze
Zach Hintze - Groomsman
Zach and I were placed together as roommates freshman year, which apparently was a great choice because we ended up living together for 5 years. We went through it all during our time in college, including being routinely mistaken for each other by our coaching staff. I had the honor of holding the ball for Zach's record setting 62 yard field goal on our Senior Day. Our time together has since transitioned from the ping pong table and late nights on xbox to skiing, boating, and of course golf. Fun fact: our grandmas knew each other before we ever met!
Olive Sagapolu
Olive Sagapolu - Groomsman
Olive and I met as freshman at Wisconsin. Do not be fooled, he is the biggest teddy bear I know. We became super close during our brief time living together and our bond only grew from there. I had the pleasure of visiting Hawaii with him during one of our breaks and he used his former cheerleading days to teach me how to do a backflip. He posted a few videos of us doing them and to our surprise, we woke up the next day to see the video he posted had gone viral. It had millions of views and was being shown on news channels all around the world, even ESPN. If only NIL existed back then... Sadly, we have not seen each other in a few years, but that's nothing a quick Facetime hasn't been able to fix.
Graydon Schroeder
Graydon Schroeder - Groomsman
Graydon and I met back in high school at Brookfield East. We were both on the freshman golf team and our friendship grew quickly from there. Although we only saw each other once or twice during college, we managed to make up for lost time on the golf course post graduation. Graydon lives in Nashville, but was super fortunate to work remote from WI for an entire summer in 2021. We took full advantage of this and had a weekly tee time all summer long. Graydon is one of the most down to earth guys I know.
Michael ("Buddy") Godfroy
Michael ("Buddy") Godfroy - Groomsman
Buddy is my cousin and we have been in each others lives from the very beginning as we are only a few weeks apart in age. We grew up playing sports together in the yard and going camping up north. Buddy is always down for a good time and has a contagious laughter. He will be easy to spot as he is absolutely one of the best dancers I've ever seen.
Jacob Shaffer
Jacob Shaffer - Ring Bearer
Thomas Shaffer, her dad, was my babysitter for years. My brother (Jacob) and I gave Thomas a run for his money, and so it was always promised that when Thomas and his wife Jenny had kids, they would get to do the same.
