Our Wedding

Our Story

We met at Marist College during our freshman year in 2014, as all techies do in Intro to Programming class. Our love story officially started November of 2015, during our sophomore year. As you can imagine, a lot has happened since then and we are so happy to be sharing just a little slice of our story with all of you!

College Days

We shared many nights out on the town, in the computer labs and library, and exploring the Hudson Valley, making Poughkeepsie our home away from home.

Crossing the pond our junior year, we were fortunate to study abroad together in Florence, Italy. During this time we visited over 10 countries and found our love for travel!(a lot of gelato &amp; pizza were had)

In May of 2018, we celebrated our senior formal at The Grandview. Who knew 7 years later we would be back for OUR WEDDING! Graduation quickly approached - ending our time at Marist.(featuring a pre-graduation photo pretending it didn't rain that day)

San Antonio, Texas

Shortly following graduation, we packed our bags and made the big move to San Antonio, TX! From discovering our love of tacos to attending a rodeo or two (and trying to learn proper rodeo attire), our years in Texas are something we'll always be grateful for.

After a few road trips with our dog Darby (iykyk), trips back to the Hudson Valley (are you sensing a theme), a Texas Freeze and of course a Fiesta or two, we said goodbye to our Texas chapter, heading back to New York in May of 2023.

New York

Back in New York, we have continued our love for travel, exploring new places and revisiting some of our favorites.

In March of 2024, we made our forever official!

Our Wedding Day - November 15th, 2025

We can't wait to celebrate with all of you, 10 years to the date of our story beginning, in a place that holds such a special meaning to us!

Transportation to and from the venue, as well as the afterparty, will be available for those interested. The venue is located approx. 4 miles from both hotel locations. Getting to Poughkeepsie

Poughkeepsie is accessible by Metro North or Amtrack trains from NYC or about a 2 hour drive from all major NYC airports. More local airports include Westchester County (HPN), Albany International Airport (ALB) or Stewart International (SFW). Any questions regarding travel, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Hotel Block Information

We have two hotel blocks reserved for our guests! Both are located within 10 minutes of our venue. If there is any trouble booking within one of the hotel blocks, please reach out, we will be happy to help!

The Inn at Bellefield serves breakfast from 7 - 10 am. To utilize our wedding block, please use the link provided. The group rate will be automatically applied. Booking does not have to be for 2 nights, adjust the start and end dates as needed. Booking must be made by October 14th to ensure the block rate.

The Homewood Suites serves breakfast from 7 - 10am.To utilize our wedding block, visit the website provided and use the Special Rate option. 1. Select the dates youd like to stay2. Click Special Rates3. Provide the group code 91H4. Confirm the dates selected are November 14-16 Booking does not have to be for 2 nights, adjust the start and end dates as needed. Booking must be made by October 1st to ensure the block rate.

While in Poughkeepsie, you must checkout Rossi's Italian Deli! Be sure to try the Number 4 or Imports Mix Paninis. There are two locations. While the location on Clover St. is the original, the Eastdale location offers a quaint walkable area with shops and other dining options.

A lunch staple, perfect for fast casual dining. Add a side of the Peanut Noodles or Pesto Pasta Salad!

Bonsai

Take in all that the Hudson Valley has to offer on the walkway. Spanning the Hudson River, the walkway is the longest elevated pedestrian bridge and a great way to see the area! Free parking is available, visit the walkway's website for more info.

Walkway Over the Hudson State Park

Take a stroll around campus, where Brad &amp; Marisa met! Be sure to visit the waterfront. Visitor parking is available across the street in Beck lot and getting to campus is super easy through the underpass!
