Marisa and Noah were on two different paths, but they both journeyed their way to the University of Georgia. During their freshman year, the bright-eyed Marisa Sheres was introduced to the tall, handsome Noah Elliott in a chemistry study group- where they indeed found chemistry. The two of them spent long hours of studying, laughing, and coming up with dad jokes, making joyful memories and becoming the best of friends.

Soon, the pair began dating. They took on many outdoor adventures of hiking, kayaking, and camping as well as trying the various restaurants around Athens, GA.

One of their favorite date ideas included a walk through campus followed by a delicious dinner in downtown Athens. On February 8th, they proceeded with their date. After nonstop thunderstorms all week, Feb. 8th was a promising day of clear skies. The sun was beginning to set during their walk as Marisa and Noah were reminiscing their memories together. Noah was nervously containing his excitement of his surprise proposal he had planned. As they approached the iconic UGA fountain, candles lit up the walkway and rose petals were perfectly placed leading to the fountain. Noah knelt down and asked Marisa to marry him. The University of Georgia is where Noah and Marisa made many memories, and they will now have an everlasting one- Marisa saying yes to Noah!
