Justin and Marisa met on their first day of college classes at Peru State College.

Their friend group, consisting of Hailey, Andrew, Dylan and Henry, met and hung out daily.

Hailey, who's astute in detecting budding love, was quick to figure out that the two had chemistry. She, and Marisa's friend LeAnn, played quite the pair of cupids in helping the two come together.

What started as a strong friendship blossomed into quite a love story by the end of that first year.

The two will be celebrating 8 loving years together in December of 2025, and their first year as a married couple in 2026.
