We met in 2016 while both studying to get our EMT certification. We were friendly, but never knew each other feeling until we went out with friends to celebrate completing our final test. That is when Marissa made the first move, and I asked her out on a date at one of our local bars. From there it was whirlwind of laughs and exploring Boston together

Casey was stationed on the USS Constitution during the beginning, while Marissa finished her Bachelors Degree. Little did we know, 8 years later we would be saying our vows on that same ship.

Starting the new year, Casey transferred to San Antonio, TX to continue his medical training as a Navy Corpsman. The start of their long distance relationship with trials ahead.

2090 miles didn't stand in between us. We often visited, making memories along the way.

Casey graduated as a US Navy Corpsman, and was on his way to train with the Marines in Camp Lejeune, NC.

Marissa graduated with her Bachelors in Biology, and is ready to finally move into her first apartment with Casey at his new station in Portsmouth, VA.

Halloween is one of their favorite Holidays to spend together

Casey and Marissa packed up their shared apartment, and hit the road. Casey had just been discharged from the Navy after finishing up his 6 year, 2 month, 1 day enlistment, and they decided to start this new journey closer to his family in Oregon.

Currently living in Oregon, with their best friend Jac, Casey and Marissa still love going on adventures. This is us at Crater Lake in Oregon.
