In order to understand how long we have been in each others lives and how long we have loved each other, you have to go back to August of 2012. It all started in a small town in Southern Illinois. As recent high school graduates, we both moved to Carbondale IL to start our college careers.
Meeting new people and making new friends was tough for the most part. The first day of Speech 101 we found out we were from the same town so naturally we started talking. We didn't know it at the time but this would be the place we would spend several formative years together: growing up, studying, exploring, never getting into trouble ever, and learning what love is and loving each other more and more everyday.
We became friends almost immediately, and in 2015 started taking our friendship to another level. Below is a glance at how we got here.

First of many concerts together. We had just started dating and decided to "Drive" up to Chicago to see Incubus. (Only some people we get the quotations.) This picture was taken nearly 10 years ago, but somehow feels like it was just yesterday.

Oh how easy it used to be to stay up all night. This was one of the more memorable all-nighters we had together. It's amazing we didn't get caught while on top of the Mass Comm building.

After both getting our Undergraduate degree at SIU Rob went on to get his Masters at DePaul University downtown. After 2 years of night school we could finally focus on finding a place to live together.

We had such a fun time exploring Arizona. This was trip was RIGHT before the pandemic made it difficult to travel and do things far away.
We spent several days in the warm sun of Tempe, before seeing the snow capped mountains of Flagstaff and the serene views of The Grand Canyon.

The day we got our first dog, Zeppelin. We both were so nervous and excited. We drove 6 hours to pick him up and 6 hours home. We will never forget how much he cried during that car ride.
Looking back at that day, we might have been a little worried however this was the start to one of our best decisions yet.

One of our favorite activities to do as a family is go camping. We love exploring, hiking, cooking, campfires, and sleeping in a tent. This is a picture during a camping trip we went on at the Indiana Dunes State Park.

If you haven't noticed by now...we like to travel. This time we took a quick weekend getaway to Atlanta to go see a show. Atlanta and the surrounding areas play a large piece in our relationship as a whole and we always love visiting one of our favorite cities every chance we can.

Lightscape at the Botanic Gardens. This was the last day we had that included zero wedding planning. It all started after this day!
