Our Wedding

Victor and Marissa met at Liberty University. She sent him a funny cat video on Instagram and they have spoken every day since. They became official on May 8th, 2023, specifically in the Men's jean section at our local Belk (it's a long story). Victor proposed to Marissa at the botanical gardens in Norfolk, VA on August 31st, 2024 (much more romantic than Belk).

Eliana is Marissa's sister, and they love thrifting together watching reality tv shows. They have shared a basement apartment for over 2 years and have not yet killed each other, so that says something.

Kyle and Victor met freshman year at LCA and have been roommates since 2022. They bonded over their enjoyment of minecraft and they love watching an array of different Ryan Gosling films and awkward TikTok compilations.

Kyleigh is Marissa's sister, and they enjoy playing roblox and watching cat videos together. Marissa enjoys Kyleigh's witty sense of humor sarcastic remarks.

Branden and Victor met at LCA during their freshman year. Whether they are playing video games or tabletop games, they do sure know how to pass the time.

Emily and Marissa met through Liberty University and have bonded over their love of thrifting. She's the Cece to Marissa's Jess - loyal, funny, and always ready with good advice and a reality check (New Girl reference).

Justin and Victor met during their sophomore year at LCA. They have spent countless hours laughing and playing games.

Angie and Marissa became friends when working together at Liberty University. We grew closer and closer with every chaotic teams call.

Derrick and Victor met at LCA during their freshman. They have spent more time than they'd like to admit talking about SpongeBob and Star Wars either before class or during work.

Keeley and Marissa met through Liberty University. Marissa appreciates Keeley's tough love and words of wisdom. They enjoy teasing Emily together, and Marissa's favorite quote from Keeley is "send me a .edu article right now."

Brett and Victor met through Branden and Stephanie Riley. They bonded through their enjoyment of watching Liberty play hockey, and they are looking forward to watching this next hockey season together. They also enjoy game nights, Victor especially enjoys beating Brett in Uno with his unlimited supply of +4 cards.

Faith and Marissa became friends while working together at Liberty University. Marissa enjoys Faith's humor and honesty.  She always grounds Marissa with her calming and truthful words.

Sarah and Marissa met through Branden and Stephanie Riley. Marissa appreciates Sarah's sense of humor and her large collection of board/card games. They love playing games late into the night and playing with Sarah's dog, Kronk.

Marissa and Stephanie met through Branden and Victor. They bonded through their love of books and not wanting to be the center of attention at parties. They also love cozy games and art projects.

Maryn and Marissa met through church/homeschool group when Marissa lived in Pennsylvania. They have been friends since they were 14, and they love shopping at the mall and getting Taco Bell together. Marissa appreciates Maryn's constant encouragement and listening ear.
