Guests should be seated by 2:15pm as the ceremony willl begin promptly at 2:30pm.

At St Joseph's, parking is available in two lots- one is located at the back of the Church by the offices. You can reach this lot via Lubbock St. or Houston Ave. The second is across the street and is open to those attending mass at St. Joseph’s. You can access this parking lot via Trinity St. or Lubbock St. Additionally, street parking can be used during the ceremony time, but payment may be required via phone or meter. Valet parking will be available at The Grove for $20 per vehicle. Alternatively, street parking will need to be payed for until 6 PM (~$2) and then will be free from then on. FYI, Street parking can be difficult to find at this time, however, if you can snag a spot it is a great option.

We would love to see our guests in formal attire! Longer dresses for the ladies and men in a dark-colored suit are preferred! As mentioned on the home page, a cover-up of some sort is recommended for both the church ceremony as well as to wear while outside during the reception. December weather here is occasionally unpredictable, but the average is in the upper-60s. But don't worry- heaters will be used if needed! Additionally, for guests who choose to wear heels, please be advised that the small gaps in the patio floor boards may make super thin heels slightly more difficult to walk in. Both! The Grove has an indoor section where we will be gathering for dinner. It has also has a beautiful outdoor patio that will be heated if needed. Hopefully, the weather will be nice on the day of, as Houston December weather is usually temperate. Refer to our section on "dress code" for recommendations!

Unfortunately, due to the limited venue space, we have decided to make our day child-free.
