Marissa and Zach met when they were in middle school and had most of their classes together in the 6th grade. They were close friends for years before they started dating in their senior year of high school on November 27, 2016. After graduating from high school in 2017, Marissa went to college at UT and Zach went to CSU. This lead to three years of long distance, countless phone calls, and so many visits back and forth!

Then Marissa caused them to be long distance once again (sorry Zach) for another three years when she went to law school. Throughout their long distance relationship, they were never apart for longer than a month between Marissa coming home and Zach visiting her in Toledo, Michigan, Findlay, and Columbus. Those two and a half hour drives were always worth it!

During Marissa’s last semester of law school, the two were looking at houses to buy back home. The week of Marissa’s (first ever) graduation, Zach came down a day early. To Marissa’s surprise, he popped the question on May 11, 2023 at the Park of Roses in Columbus. She obviously said yes! They then got to celebrate and bought a house in June.

Marissa and Zach are now GETTING MARRIED and are hoping you can make it to the wedding to celebrate!
