Our Wedding

Our story began at Georgia Southern University, where fate (and a little peer pressure) brought us together on the last night of syllabus week 2022. Marissa, a sophomore at the time, had planned to stay in for a quiet night, but her roommates had other plans. Thank God they did, because that night at the Southern Social, everything changed. Dylan, a senior, was gearing up to celebrate his last syllabus week with his friends at the same spot. Marissa was outside with her roommate, getting some fresh air, when she spotted a cute guy across the room. That guy was Dylan. Whether it was love at first sight or just a strong gut feeling, she knew right then and there that she was going to make him notice her. Turning to her roommate with total confidence, she declared, “I’m going to be with him.” Now, to be fair, it was bold, but what Marissa didn’t know was that fate was already on her side. Not even five minutes later, as if the universe had aligned, Dylan walked right up to her and they immediately hit it off. From that moment on, they were inseparable. It truly was meant to be. Looking back, we realize there were so many moments when our paths could have crossed earlier, but as always, God's timing was perfect! Through three and a half years of love, laughter, and even two years of long-distance, we've only grown stronger. For the convenience of our guests, a wedding trolley has been reserved to provide transportation from downtown to the venue. The trolley will make one dedicated trip to bring guests directly to the venue. Final details regarding the exact pickup location and departure time are currently being arranged, though the pickup will take place somewhere in the Downtown Savannah area. Once the logistics have been finalized, this page will be updated with the confirmed pickup location and schedule. We hope this option makes getting to the celebration a little easier for those staying downtown. Stay tuned for more details!
