Our Wedding

Riss and Mike met in downtown Morgantown, WV in November of 2017. They spent New Year's Eve of 2018 together and had their first date soon after seeing Star Wars: The Last Jedi for the second time. Within a year, they moved into a small apartment in Westover as Riss finished grad school at WVU. By 2021, they both had new jobs, a new house and 4 little fuzz balls. As you probably saw all over your social media, Mike popped the question to Riss August 2023 at Cape Henlopen, DE on their 5th "Bae-cation" (a vacation with your bae). Riss and Mike are both very excited to party rock in the (Carriage) house Summer 2024 with all their closest friends and family.

A cute roof top bar located on top of River Birch Cafe. They serve wine, beer and cocktails as well as small plates. Very fun atmosphere and fire pits for chilly evenings - check the linked Instagram for hours.

Iron Horse Tavern

Riss' favorite restaurant in Morgantown! Located near the football stadium. Sports bar with huge food menu and a variety of beer served in fishbowl glasses.

Arcade and Bar located downtown! Pinball, claw machines, Mario Cart and Pac Man as well as pool tables and 2 full bars.

Levels Arcade

Indoor/outdoor beer hall with tons of local beer. Nice outdoor space and very beloved by the bride and groom to be!

Apothecary Ale House & Cafe

If you are anything like Riss - you might want to stop by the antique shop at the old mall. Tons of vendors and very cool stuff for all types of collectors.

Eloquence Antiques & Artisans

Have a Fat Angelo's Friday by ordering take-out or heading over to the best pizza shop in Morgantown! Order a Loco Taco Pizza or a BBQ chicken pizza for the true Riss n Mike experience. (Disclaimer: if you do this every Friday for a year, you will gain 20 lbs)

SCORER'S BABY (aka Santa's) Not for everyone but definitely for the Guido household. Beer, cocktails, Westover locals (probably literally us and Julie Guido the Friday before our wedding) and classic bar food specials. Tip Amber or Michael well if you go and play a Carly Rae Jepsen song on touch tunes in our honor.
