Q + A

What is the dress code?

We invite you to join us in celebrating our wedding with formal attire. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while ladies may choose an elegant evening gown or a chic cocktail dress. Please note that any variation of red is reserved for our bridal party. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you in your finest attire!

Weather conditions

Our wedding is in November and the venue is right off the Delaware River. We recommend dressing warmly! To help keep everyone cozy, the venue will be providing some firepits outside.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that there are no children attending our wedding day. Use this evening as a fun night to celebrate with friends and family!

Can I bring a date?

We kindly ask that if your invitation did not include a plus one, that you do not bring one. We have a limited guest count and want to stick to it.

Where should we stay?

We have reserved a block of rooms at two hotels near our wedding venue for your convenience: Hampton Inn & Suites Bensalem, PA. The Spark by Hilton Bensalem, PA. Both hotels are conveniently located across the street from each other, making it easy for you to choose the best option for your stay. A link to make reservations for either hotel is located in the travel section of the website. All reservations through either hotel block must be made by 10/6/25.

Transportation Information

We’re excited to provide a shuttle service for our guests! The shuttle service will be provided for both hotels listed in the travel section of the website. Please note the following important details: Shuttle service will begin at 3:00pm. The last shuttle will depart at 3:30pm to ensure all guests arrive on time for the 4:00pm ceremony. We kindly ask that anyone using the shuttle service be on time to help the process run smoothly. Thank you for your cooperation! For those who prefer to drive to the venue, there will be parking available on-site. Please be sure to follow signs for Belle Voir Manor, as there are two other venues at the same location.

What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. We kindly ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure a smooth start. If you are unable to arrive before the start time, we will need to ask you to wait outside the ceremony area to avoid disrupting the celebration. Thank you for your understanding!

Is the venue accessible for guests with mobility challenges?

Yes, our venue is wheelchair accessible! There’s also a designated drop-off location at the front for anyone needing assistance. If you have any specific concerns or require further help, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration!

Will the ceremony be outside?

Yes, our ceremony is planned to be outdoors, weather permitting. However, don’t worry! If the weather becomes an issue, we have a beautiful indoor backup plan in place to ensure the ceremony will be just as special.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow everyone to fully experience the moment. Don’t worry, we’ve hired a professional photographer and will have plenty of beautiful photos to share with you afterward. Feel free to take out your phones and capture the moments once the ceremony has concluded!

What type of food will be served?

For cocktail hour, guests will be greeted by staff serving twenty-one butlered hors d’oeuvres with three cocktail stations. For the reception, there will be a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. For anyone with dietary restrictions or allergies, please make sure to advise the staff waiting on you.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The open bar will feature any cocktail you desire, along with two special signature cocktails chosen by the bride and groom. Of course, beer and wine will also be available for your enjoyment. If you are able, please consider tipping the bartenders for their hard work. Cheers!
