Once upon a midsummers eve in the year of our Lord 2021, four companions set forth on a journey to a sun-kissed shore, their hearts brimming with anticipation. It all began when fair Marissa encountered a maiden at the University of South Florida, who was betrothed to one of Dimitri’s comrades. This couple, believing themselves to be his agents of love, sought to unite Dimitri and Marissa in a fateful match.


By chance, both gallant gentlemen possessed swift steeds of two seats, and Marissa found herself riding in a gleaming gray chariot, a Corvette, with Dimitri. Unbeknownst to them, this day would herald the beginning of their tale. They shared long discourses and moments of delightful awkwardness, crafting memories to cherish. Their evening concluded with a feast at Dimitri’s family abode, where they beheld a display of fireworks—one of which nearly led to calamity, though fate spared them.


As the wheel of time turned to October 9th, Dimitri invited Marissa to a festival of Halloween delights in Tampa, where they painted pumpkins and captured a moment of significance in a portrait. When their fellowship reconvened, weariness overtook Marissa, and she retreated to her carriage. In a moment of boldness, Dimitri approached her, his heart racing, and with trembling words, he asked her to be more than mere friends. Though taken aback, Marissa, after a counsel with her queen, accepted his proposal within the span of twelve hours.


And thus, on the sixteenth day of August 2024, Dimitri knelt before Marissa in a sacred chapel, with only two witnesses to behold their love, and there he offered her a ring, sealing their bond for eternity.
