Do I need a passport to travel?

Yes! You are required to have a valid passport for travel to the Dominican Republic. Please be sure to start this process early as there are frequent delays in securing passports for travel. Additionally, your passport cannot expire within 6 months of travel date. In other words, if your passport expires anytime before May 2025, you will need to renew prior to travel.

What is included in my stay?

Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa is an all-inclusive resort meaning that your booking includes your accommodations, and as much food & drink as you want throughout your stay (yes, even alcohol!). Additionally, our travel agent, Laura, has bundled airport transfers into your reservation. Through this all inclusive package, you are free to dine at any/all resort restaurants and bars, order room service, participate in scheduled activities, as well as enjoy the pools, waterpark, and beach at no additional cost. Lastly, with exchange privileges, guests 18+ can enjoy the amenities of Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa located next door essentially providing a 2-for-1 deal!

Is airfare included in the room rate?

The room rates include your accommodations (hotel taxes included), food & drink, and transfers to and from the airport. Airfare will be purchased separately through D'Amico Travel as flights become available. Please reach out to our travel agent, Laura, with additional questions.

Am I required to stay for the entire week?

Our wedding block is arranged to accommodate a minimum of three nights from November 5th-November 8th, though rates are valid November 3rd-November 10th, 2024. We will be there all week and would love to have you join us whether just for the wedding, or for an extended stay. Our travel agent, Laura, can provide you with the necessary information if you wish to extend your stay beyond the wedding events!

What if I need special accommodations?

If you require special accommodations such as an ADA room or have dietary restrictions, please let us and our travel agent know so we can make the necessary arrangements :)

What are my transfer options to and from the airport?

The room rates provided via D'Amico Travel includes the cost of airport transfer (to and from). Laura will arrange private transfers for guests of our group when she books your flight. These transfers will be specific to guests of our wedding group based on flight so while you might be in a transfer with individuals you have not yet met, the transfers will be private to only our group. If you choose to book your flights independently, please be sure to provide your flight information to Laura so she can arrange your transfers!

Are children invited/ allowed at the wedding?

While we love all of the children in our lives, we will be limiting attendance during wedding related activities to our immediate family members & children in our wedding party only. However, we understand that some guests may be using this trip as their family vacation and/or may have trouble arranging childcare to travel for our wedding. As such, we have chosen a family friendly resort to accommodate this! Childcare during wedding related activities will be the responsibility of the parents. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you plan to bring your children, there are childcare options available onsite.


Explorers Club For Kids ages 3-12, offering indoor game room with video games, crafts and even a camping adventure on the beach. Open daily from 9 a.m.—10 p.m.


Core Zone Teens Club for ages 13-17, featuring video games and a basketball court. Open daily from 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.


Child care services are available separate from the Explorer’s Club or Core Zone. Additional costs apply and are subject to change. Contact the resort concierge for details.

Is there a dress code?

We are not requiring a specific dress code for guests outside of the wedding party. However, we ask that guests dress in semi-formal attire for wedding related activities. Be sure to account for the Caribbean weather! You can find more information regarding dress code under the scheduled events on the homepage.

What is preferred club?

Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa offers upgraded rooms and amenities through their preferred club. Some preferred club privileges include: Personalized check-in and check-out with concierge service. preferred Club suites in prime locations, upgraded mini-bar, upgraded bath amenities, upgraded room service menu, two Preferred Club pools ( one for families and one for adults only), pool concierge and bar service, preferred Club only restaurant for breakfast, preferred Club only bars including a swim-up bar and a personal butler assigned to your room for any additional needs. When/how should I RSVP?

Please kindly RSVP by July 15th using the online RSVP feature found under the RSVP tab on our website. Though your reservation serves as an informal RSVP, we wish to finalize our guest list as soon as possible so we can plan events accordingly. Additionally, RSVP questions include specifics about dietary restrictions and arrival dates so we can ensure the safety of our guests!
