How I Met Wesley 

How&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;Wesley&nbsp;Kawala,💏 It&nbsp;was&nbsp;on&nbsp;April&nbsp;25th&nbsp;2021&nbsp;when&nbsp;I&nbsp;went&nbsp;to&nbsp;my&nbsp;first&nbsp;activity&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;LDS&nbsp;church&nbsp;which&nbsp;was&nbsp;Ultimate&nbsp;Frisbee&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;Orem&nbsp;Jr.&nbsp;High.&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;blonde&nbsp;dyed&nbsp;hair.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;Wesley&nbsp;sitting&nbsp;down&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;grass&nbsp;watching&nbsp;people&nbsp;play.&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;bit&nbsp;shy&nbsp;and&nbsp;timid&nbsp;and&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;really&nbsp;talk&nbsp;to&nbsp;him&nbsp;as&nbsp;of&nbsp;yet.&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;several&nbsp;others.&nbsp;Then&nbsp;I&nbsp;&nbsp;started&nbsp;playing&nbsp;ultimate&nbsp;Frisbee&nbsp;that&nbsp;Dan&nbsp;Goff&nbsp;and&nbsp;Mickie&nbsp;hosts.&nbsp; Wesley&nbsp;started&nbsp;to&nbsp;ask&nbsp;me&nbsp;out&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;dates.&nbsp;We&nbsp;went&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;movies&nbsp;together&nbsp;and&nbsp;saw&nbsp;"Suicide&nbsp;Squad"&nbsp;.&nbsp;Not&nbsp;your&nbsp;typical&nbsp;date&nbsp;night&nbsp;movie&nbsp;lol We&nbsp;agreed&nbsp;to&nbsp;it.&nbsp;I&nbsp;think&nbsp;we&nbsp;had&nbsp;ice&nbsp;cream&nbsp;after&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;orem&nbsp;Cinemark&nbsp;Movie&nbsp;Theater.&nbsp; One&nbsp;date&nbsp;night&nbsp;we&nbsp;went&nbsp;to&nbsp;Tepanyaki&nbsp;Grill&nbsp;in&nbsp;Orem&nbsp;and&nbsp;he&nbsp;brought&nbsp;me&nbsp;aloe&nbsp;vera&nbsp;gel&nbsp;because&nbsp;I&nbsp;burnt&nbsp;my&nbsp;finger&nbsp;while&nbsp;straightening&nbsp;my&nbsp;hair.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;thought&nbsp;that&nbsp;was&nbsp;sweet&nbsp;and&nbsp;so&nbsp;caring.&nbsp;&nbsp;Then&nbsp;after&nbsp;we&nbsp;went&nbsp;to&nbsp;Stadium&nbsp;of&nbsp;fire&nbsp;in&nbsp;which&nbsp;he&nbsp;bought&nbsp;ny&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;and&nbsp;ticket&nbsp;🎟&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;He&nbsp;put&nbsp;his&nbsp;arm&nbsp;around&nbsp;me&nbsp;but&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;not&nbsp;ready&nbsp;and&nbsp;me&nbsp;being&nbsp;shy.&nbsp; We&nbsp;also&nbsp;played&nbsp;and&nbsp;watched&nbsp;a&nbsp;group&nbsp;of&nbsp;friends&nbsp;play&nbsp;pickle&nbsp;ball&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;date&nbsp;night&nbsp;we&nbsp;had.&nbsp;&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;with&nbsp;John&nbsp;Davis&nbsp;and&nbsp;Sarah&nbsp;Chavez.&nbsp; One&nbsp;time&nbsp;we&nbsp;went&nbsp;together,&nbsp;&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;ward&nbsp;water&nbsp;balloon&nbsp;fight.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;think&nbsp;that's&nbsp;where&nbsp;we&nbsp;slowly&nbsp;stopped&nbsp;talking&nbsp;with&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;other&nbsp;people&nbsp;and&nbsp;friends&nbsp;because&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;so&nbsp;new&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;ward. Fast&nbsp;forward&nbsp;5&nbsp;years&nbsp;later,&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;came&nbsp;back&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;ward&nbsp;in&nbsp;October.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;Sunday&nbsp;after&nbsp;church&nbsp;at&nbsp;2:30&nbsp;PM.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;Munch&nbsp;and&nbsp;Mingle.&nbsp;I&nbsp;sat&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;round&nbsp;table&nbsp;with&nbsp;Linda&nbsp;Sheldon&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;Anderson&nbsp;and&nbsp;her&nbsp;cousin.&nbsp;&nbsp;Then&nbsp;Wesley&nbsp;came&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;table&nbsp;while&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;talking&nbsp;to&nbsp;Heather.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;never&nbsp;got&nbsp;a&nbsp;chance&nbsp;to&nbsp;talk&nbsp;to&nbsp;him&nbsp;because&nbsp;my&nbsp;ride&nbsp;needed&nbsp;to&nbsp;leave.&nbsp; I&nbsp;decided&nbsp;to&nbsp;message&nbsp;Wesley&nbsp;on&nbsp;Facebook&nbsp;messenger.&nbsp;We&nbsp;started&nbsp;having&nbsp;a&nbsp;great&nbsp;meanimgful&nbsp;conversation.&nbsp;He&nbsp;later&nbsp;asked&nbsp;me&nbsp;out&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Luminaria&nbsp;at&nbsp;Thanksgiving&nbsp;Point&nbsp;at&nbsp;Ashton&nbsp;Gardens.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;best&nbsp;decision&nbsp;and&nbsp;right&nbsp;timing&nbsp;I&nbsp;ever&nbsp;did.&nbsp;We&nbsp;hit&nbsp;it&nbsp;off&nbsp;after.&nbsp;Yes,&nbsp;I&nbsp;did&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;short&nbsp;2&nbsp;months&nbsp;break..&nbsp;but&nbsp;I&nbsp;needed&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;on&nbsp;myself,&nbsp;have&nbsp;girl&nbsp;time,&nbsp;and&nbsp;clear&nbsp;up&nbsp;some&nbsp;stuff&nbsp;out&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;life.&nbsp; We&nbsp;became&nbsp;officially&nbsp;dating&nbsp;on&nbsp;April&nbsp;11th.&nbsp;&nbsp;After&nbsp;that&nbsp;we&nbsp;started&nbsp;to&nbsp;become&nbsp;best&nbsp;friends&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;greatest&nbsp;connection,&nbsp;we&nbsp;fully&nbsp;are&nbsp;committed&nbsp;and&nbsp;understand&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;So&nbsp;glad&nbsp;we&nbsp;rekindled&nbsp;our&nbsp;love&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;more&nbsp;vulnerable,&nbsp;&nbsp;honest,&nbsp;and&nbsp;open&nbsp;to&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;,💖

Temple Ceremony &amp; Sealing – Orem Utah Temple 11:30am- Wedding party who have temple recommend arrive 30 minutes early in the Orem temple 11:45pm - 12:00pm - Wedding guests and bridal party arrive at the Orem Temple. 12:00pm – Marissa and Wesley marry and seal for time and all eternity in the Orem Utah Temple. 1:00pm – Bride and Groom exit the Temple doors, greeting family and loved ones. (Bubbles wands blown to couple) 1:10pm – Photographer (Cameron Huntsinger) captures Family and Wedding Party photos on the Temple grounds. 1:40pm – Family and friends mingle before heading to the reception at the Northridge Orem Stake Center. -------------------------------------------Reception – Northridge Orem Stake Center: 1674 N 200 W St, Orem, UT 84057 DJ- Joey Brazzeal/MC Announcer -Shaun Gordon- Setup between 1:45pm–2:30pm ------------Reception Events: 2:30pm – Family &amp; Wedding Party arrive at the reception 2:50pm- Grand Entrance of the Bride &amp; Groom 3:20pm- Introduction of Couple 3:25pm- First Dance 3:30pm- Luncheon Starts- served by each table number 3:50pm – Photo Dash -Bride and Groom go around tables to take group photos during food. 4:00pm – Speeches/Toasts Introduced in Order (When speeches start- Bride &amp; Groom eat). 4:05pm – Best Man Speech – Adam Bingham 4:10pm – Maid of Honor Speech – Carissa Sadler 4:15pm – Mother of the Bride Speech – Marsha Crosby 4:20pm - Mother of the Groom- Connie Kawala 4:25pm- Couple’s Thank You Speech 4:30pm- Open Dance Floor 5:05pm - Cake Cutting- First Bite 5:30pm – Bouquet Toss 6:00pm- Farewell Announcement 6:20pm – Grand Exit of the Bride &amp; Groom with wand Bubbles
