Sometimes, love doesn’t follow the timeline we expect. It waits until the moment is just right. For us, that moment came later in life, when we had already walked through our chapters of heartbreak and growth. We each had our share of experiences. The kind that taught us what we wanted, what we deserved, and most importantly, what we were no longer willing to settle for. We were both ready for something built to last. Through every thoughtful gesture, shared laugh, and knowing glance, it was clear we met at exactly the right time and has brought us exactly where we are meant to be. As we pieced together our stories, we realized our paths had almost crossed before, many times. But we agree, if we had met back then, we may not have been ready to appreciate each other the way we do today. Ours feels like a story of perfect timing. A reminder that sometimes, life truly does save the best for last. And now, as we prepare to say “I do,” our hearts are ready, grateful, and certain that this time, it’s forever.

Meet my long time friend, Beth. For over 22 years, she’s been one of the most genuine friends anyone could ask for. Steady, reliable, and always showing up when it matters most. She doesn’t always sugarcoat things (which I secretly love), but her honesty, big heart, and unforgettable laugh have carried me through so many chapters of life. Beth also happens to share her birthday with my two grandchildren, Sterling and Frances, and Albert Einstein. Clearly, the universe had something special in mind for March 14, saving it for the some of us the brightest and coolest kids around. All of that combined just makes it even more special and I am so grateful she will be by my side as I marry JP.

This is AJ. The real deal. Big heart, steady hand, and built for whatever life throws at him. We met in 2015, as a fellow member and he’s been a rock solid friend ever since. Proud to have him by my side as I marry the woman of my dreams. Someone get him a proper whiskey. None of that bottom-shelf stuff.

My grandchildren, Frances and Sterling, have been entrusted with the very serious roles of flower girl and ring bearer, because who better to handle delicate petals and precious jewelry than two energetic kids? Their sweet smiles, playful spirits, and occasional unpredictability are sure to add plenty of charm (and maybe a little chaos) to our special day.

My great-niece, Maci, is adding some extra sparkle to our day. With her sweet smile and playful spirit, she’s sure to steal a few hearts. And maybe a little bit of the spotlight. We’re so lucky to have her bringing some added joy to our celebration!
