The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail! While we want everyone to look their best no need to wear a red carpet gown! Whatever makes you feel your best and will be comfy for a night full of dancing! If it helps, our colors are light purples (lavenders and lilacs) with some fall oranges mixed in and hints of green! We kindly request no white dresses.

While we love all of your children we are requesting you get a family member, friend, or sitter to watch them as we have chosen to have a child free wedding. Consider this a vacation or date night where you can let loose and enjoy your night with the bride and groom!

We recommend getting to the venue 15-30 minutes in advance in order to get settled and make sure you are there for when the ceremony begins! Our venue has ample parking so that won't be an issue but we do anticipate many pictures wanted to be taken on the stunning grounds of the venue!

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside, luckily you won't have to walk in grass very much in order to get to ceremony location so wear all the heels you want! Reception will take place inside and is temperature controlled.

Since it is Georgia we anticipate it still being quite sunny and warm outside however the mornings and post sunset can get a slight chilly in the fall/winter however we will have a fire pit and be dancing a lot so I would say dress for warmer weather but bring a shawl or jacket if you get cold easily!

We will be having a welcome gathering on Friday, October 4th at the Wyomia Tyus Olympic Park Pavilion 5 minutes from the Hilton Hotel. We are super excited to have an extra bit of time to spend with family and friends who will be traveling from far to come celebrate us! Light food and drinks will be provided!

Yes! We are very lucky to have an amazing caterer, who has been on the food network and won numerous competitions and awards in Atlanta, cooking for us for the wedding! We will have a vegan/vegetarian option as well as a gluten free option. The RSVP form will request the information but you can always send Marissa your dietary restrictions ahead of time.

Absolutely! We have this huge venue until midnight and it is Marissa and Alex's request that you dance the night away with us whether you need a drink to do that or not! There will be numerous drink options including many non-alcoholic options (soda, sweet tea, lemonade, etc).

Luckily the hotel is just 7 minutes up the road from our stunning venue AND Griffin has plenty of ubers to accommodate! We recommend Ubers or Lyfts if you are dancing all night with us at Mystic Acres!
