It all started with a diamond, a softball diamond that is! In 2006, I joined the Mustangs travel softball team and became friends with the shortstop, Nicole Pitta. We would travel with our team and families, and Anthony would come along with us.

My friendship with the Pittas lasted throughout middle school and I even met some of Anthony's groomsmen this way. Once it was time to go off to high school, I went my separate way to another school and eventually off to college.

Once I graduated and came home, I was able to rekindle my friendship with Nicole and Anthony because, in a complete twist of fate, my two best friends (and bridesmaids) became friends with Nicole and Anthony! Our entire friend group would hang out every weekend and I was able to get to know Anthony even better.

After dating for a few years, Anthony proposed and I said, "Yes!" on February 11, 2023. You could say our story started and ended with a diamond, but it's just the beginning for us!
