This is the cheapest but farthest airport option. From DIA, you can either rent a car or use a shuttle service to get to Gunnison (approximately a 4.5 hour bus ride). If you choose to use the Bustang bus service, the rate is $75 for a 5-hour drive with wifi included in the vehicle. We recommend renting a car so you can stop in all the mountain towns and also save some time on your drive.

This is the second cheapest and farthest option. We recommend this option for those wanting to rent a car and take a scenic drive to Crested Butte. To get to CB, you will have to drive Highway 24, which features beautiful views, charming towns, and many trails! For our South Park fans, you can take a pitstop to Fairplay, the town the show is based on.

There are flights available to Aspen for ~$500. The airport is slightly over 2.5 hours away from Crested Butte but there are buses and car services.

This is the closest airport option but the prices are more expensive. This option would be ideal for guests who do not want to rent a car and would prefer to stay in town.

IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE - Due to the airport's location and the weather conditions in Aspen, flights often get cancelled, which will result in your party having to drive to Grand Junction or Denver for a new flight.

Once you are in town, Crested Butte offers a free shuttle throughout town!
