Colin and Marissa matched on the dating app, Bumble, and after exchanging some messages, met at Old Street Pub in Smithtown on November 7th, 2021. As sparks flew, Marissa mentioned that it was her dream to become a NFL cheerleader and Colin suggested that she audition for his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, who just so happened to be playing on the TV that night. Marissa, initially skeptical, brushed off this idea.

Their connection continued to flourish as Colin and Marissa spent more time together. Colin would often visit Marissa on her lunch breaks at work. On December 31st of that year, as the clock struck midnight, Colin asked Marissa to be his girlfriend!

As their relationship continued, Marissa began to secretly research NFL teams in preparation for the NFL audition season. She came to realize that the Philadelphia Eagles was the team she truly wanted to pursue. Marissa was grateful to have Colin's wealth of Eagles football knowledge and his unwavering support throughout the arduous audition process. Finally, one fateful day as Colin was sitting in a work meeting, his phone rang and Marissa shared the exciting news that she was now an Eagles Cheerleader!

The two eagerly moved to South Jersey where their love story continued as they enjoyed visiting local farm stands, leisurely walks in the park, days at the Jersey Shore, exploring the historical sites of Philadelphia, and of course, all of the Philly sporting events. Fast forward to November 2023; Colin planned a celebration of their 2-year anniversary at a steakhouse, or that's what Marissa had believed.

Instead, Colin led Marissa to the beach where the two had shared many date nights together watching the sunset. To Marissa's surprise, Colin got down on one knee and asked Marissa to marry him! Colin and Marissa are eager to begin this new adventure together and are excited to see what the future will hold.
