Marissa and Jake met online in January of 2022. On February 10th, the two went on their first date, a bar for drinks. After a few dates, Jake's grandpa passed away, causing the two to stop going out. Near the end of March, Jake reached out explaining what had happened and asking if they could go get a drink. In June of 2022, Jake asked Marissa to be his girlfriend. The couple moved in together in November of 2022 and got engaged in May of 2023. Two months after getting engaged, the couple found out they were pregnant.
