We first dated at the age of 19, only after a couple of months Cosme proposed asking me to marry him. “I’m going to marry you, I know it”. Scaring me away, we both went our separate ways. Cosme always checked in on me to see how I was, knowing the situation I always played dumb asking “who’s this?” when he would text. 7 years later a friend messaged me stating Cosme had written about me on tumbler. I played it off acting like I didn’t care, but curiosity got the best of me and I started reading his blogs. One in particular, where he spoke about his mom, my heart sank and I panicked and messaged a mutual friend asking for his number. I messaged him, and he responded with “who’s this” laughing knowing who I was. We became inseparable since that day…. Rekindling our love and friendship. The pain and struggle we both went through brought us closer. December 17th, 2022 Cosme finally proposed….he asked me once, and waited for my answer.
