Our Wedding

Like many great love stories in modern times, ours began with a little help from the internet. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into hours of talking, laughing, and realizing we actually liked the same things (and were willing to tolerate the things we didn’t). Our first date confirmed what we already suspected: this might be something special. Between shared jokes, good food, and the realization that neither of us wanted the night to end, things just clicked. Over time we survived family vacations, binge-watched more shows than we’d like to admit, and learned every annoying habbit of eachother. Through it all we found that our love grew deeper. Before we knew it, we couldnt imagine our lives without eachother. Mark asked the big question, and without a doubt in her mind Sarah said yes. Now we’re excited to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of our favorite people.

What started as a whirlwind friendship, Jessica and Sarah went from roommates to soul sisters over 17 years of always having each other’s back. They’ve shared countless milestones—late-night study sessions, new jobs, moves, and family celebrations—and Jessica has been a steady source of laughter, advice, and support through it all. It’s only fitting that Sarah has Jessica by her side on this special day as her Maid of Honor.

Mark met Jeff during their junior year of high school, and the two quickly became inseparable. Even after Mark joined the military, they stayed close and were always able to pick up right where they left off. Over the years, they’ve shared plenty of questionable decisions and unforgettable memories, but one of the best choices they ever made was maintaining the strong friendship they still have today.

Jeff

Shawna and Sarah met while working together at Buffalo Wild Wings and quickly discovered they had a lot in common. They became close friends and have supported each other through many ups and downs over the past 14 years, growing into lifelong best friends.

Shawna

Mark met Jake in 2009 while serving together at Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 3. Between 2009 and 2013, the two shared multiple overseas deployments, helping each other through some of life’s toughest and most challenging moments. Over the years, their bond grew far beyond military service into a lifelong friendship

Jake

McKenzee and Sarah are more like sisters than cousins growing up side-by-side. They’ve always shared a close, unspoken bond. They joke that they “share a brain,” finishing each other’s thoughts and knowing what the other is thinking before a word is said. McKenzee’s warmth, quick wit, and steady presence have been a constant and viatal part of Sarahs life.

Mark and Kyle’s friendship came naturally from the very beginning. As the Maid of Honor’s husband and the Bride’s cousin, Kyle has been part of countless family gatherings, celebrations, and all the excitement leading up to the wedding day. What started as family connection quickly turned into a genuine friendship built on good times, laughs, and making memories together.

When Angela entered Sarah’s life, she quickly became a devoted, loving sister‑in‑law; their bond grew into a quiet, protective friendship marked by steady support, shared laughter, and an easy understanding that’s stood by Sarah through every milestone. She brings wisdom and calm, helping Mark navigate the beautiful chaos he’s marrying into. Cherished for her warmth, loyalty, and steady presence, Angela is a treasured bridesmaid.

Angela 

Over the last three and a half years, Robert has gone from being the Bride’s brother to truly becoming the Groom’s brother as well. Through family gatherings, holidays, and countless memories together, Mark and Robert built a close bond rooted in respect, loyalty, and friendship. Having Robert stand beside him on this day means more than just gaining a brother-in-law — it means gaining family for life.

As Mark’s sister, Lauren has had a front-row seat to many questionable life decisions over the years — and thankfully she fully supports this one. Equal parts hilarious and fiercely loyal, she’s the person you want nearby when things get chaotic. Sarah and Mark couldn’t imagine the day without her steady humor and unwavering support.

Mike may have started out as the Bride’s little brother, but over the years he became someone Mark could always count on. Whether through family events, laughs together, or simply getting to know each other more with time, their relationship grew into a genuine friendship. Mark is proud to have Mike standing beside him on such an important day and looks forward to many more years of memories together as family.

As Mark’s daughter, Autumn has long held a special place in Sarah’s heart. Warm, funny, and full of spirit, Autumn brings light to every room she enters. Over the years their bond has grown into a close, playful friendship. Autumn’s kindness, quick wit, and affectionate presence make her a beloved bridesmaid and a treasured part of this day.

August is not only Mark’s son, but also his little sidekick and best buddy. The two share a special bond filled with adventures, laughs, and countless memories together. Having August by his side on such an important day means the world to Mark and makes the celebration even more special.

Josh and Sarah have been close since forever—cousins who are more like best friends. Over the years they’ve looked out for one another through big life moments and everyday joys, always ready with practical help, honest advice, and a laugh when it’s needed most. Dependable, warm, and fiercely loyal, Josh has been a constant presence in Sarah’s life; she’s grateful to have him stand by her as a brides‑man on our wedding day.

Being the daughter of Sarah’s Maid of Honor, Jessica, Ava has been special to Sarah since the day she was born. Being Auntie to Ava is one of Sarah’s most cherished roles—she delights in watching Ava grow, sharing hugs, stories, and silly moments together.

Carter has always shared a special bond with his Auntie Sarah and took his role of looking out for her very seriously when Mark came into the picture. Quietly observant and full of personality, Carter made sure Uncle Mark was truly good enough for his Auntie before fully giving his approval. Now, with a big thumbs-up and plenty of love, he proudly takes on the important role of ring bearer on their wedding da
