Mark and Danielle’s tenacious search for love came to an end during the brink of the Covid era, thanks to the dating site, Bumble. Mark, who is originally from Carroll County, MD was visiting his grandparents in Fenwick Island when he came across his queen on the dating site and without hesitation, swiped right. Danielle, who was exhausted by the dating scene was hesitant to pursue “Mark from Bumble,” as he seemed too good to be true. Danielle succumbed to her nerves and let the match expire after 24 hours. But Mark, ever so determined, paid a small price ($2.99) for a match extension, which would turn into the extension of a lifetime, literally! They had their first date at Crooked Hammock, where they sat and talked for hours getting to know each other, discovering how much they have in common. One date turned into two, and the rest was history! During their first year together, Mark resided in Wilmington, DE to complete his residency. Luckily, Wilmington didn’t scare him away from Delaware, because he then landed his dream job with a private dentistry office in Sussex county, DE, close to the beaches and of course, Danielle. Together, they continue to support each other in their careers and have begun to build their lives around their core values and family, which has brought them both genuine happiness. Some of their favorite things to do together includes trying local restaurants, beach activities, traveling, learning about each others interests and hobbies, cooking (attempting), and spending Sundays on the couch! They are very excited to bring their families and friends together to share this milestone that will represent the beginning of their next chapter as a married couple!
