Mark and Seda's journey began on January 1, 2020, when Mark sent Seda a message, confidently stating that she would be his future wife. Intrigued by his boldness, Seda agreed to meet for sushi. However, that bold demeanor that he had portrayed did not come across when he accidentally spilled soy sauce on Seda. Instead of ruining the evening, it became a funny moment that broke the ice. From then on, they spent nearly every day together, quickly becoming inseparable.

In the summer of 2023, while driving through the stunning sceneries of Peru, Seda jokingly told Mark that this would be the ideal place for a proposal. Little did she know, Mark had the ring in his pocket and was impatiently waiting for the perfect moment to pop the question. On August 16, 2023, surrounded by both their families, Mark proposed to Seda, fulfilling the prophecy that he had so boldly stated four years prior.
