Caroline and Mark met as wide-eyed freshmen at the University of Dayton in the fall of 2017. It was during the hustle and bustle of finals week that our paths truly crossed, leading to our first dates over warm, early morning breakfasts at the Marycrest dining hall. Little did we know that these moments would mark the beginning of something truly special. After the Christmas break, we officially began our journey together on January 25, 2018.

Since then, we have shared countless adventures and grown stronger with each passing day. From late-night study sessions to cheering each other on at graduation, our college days were filled with memories we will cherish forever. Caroline graduated in 2021, and Mark followed a year later in 2022. The next chapter of our lives took us to Miamisburg, Ohio, where we moved into our first apartment together, creating a home filled with love and laughter.

Life's twists and turns had us moving multiple times for work and school—spending nine months in the vibrant city of Chicago, five months back in the familiar comfort of Dayton, and eventually finding ourselves in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, as Caroline began her medical school journey. Each move brought its own set of challenges and joys, but through it all, our love and bond has only deepened.

A particularly special day in our journey was April 19, 2024, when Mark asked Caroline to marry him in a quiet, intimate moment at a little park in Miamisburg, Ohio. Surrounded by the serenity of nature, Caroline said yes, marking the beginning of our next chapter together.

Together, we have navigated new cities, supported each other's dreams, and celebrated each milestone along the way. We have grown as individuals and as a couple, learning and loving more deeply with each passing day. Now, as we look to the future, we are excited to continue this incredible journey hand in hand.
