Mark and Raquel's story started in June of 2019 at a church camp called super summer. A couple of months after getting to know each other and going on lots of dates, Mark took Raquel on a picnic at Amelia Earhart park in Hialeah and asked her to be his girlfriend. Of course, she said yes!

As Mark and Raquel were a couple of months in to dating all while going through COVID, Mark got accepted to attend the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs!

Mark begins and completes Basic Training. He and Raquel begin their long-distance journey.

After 6 months of long-distance, they finally get to see each other! They go on many dates and enjoy every single moment together, not taking any second for granted!

They get to spend every Winter and Summer break together for at least three weeks each time. They cherish every moment and enjoy each other's company all while growing and learning together!

Mark asks Raquel to marry him at The Bonnet House and Garden Museum and she said yes!
