We met in Grand Forks, ND, where Mark was coaching travel baseball for the Whiskey Jacks and Megan was attending UND for nursing. We went on a first date in early June of 2021 at Rhombus Brewing Company and spent a few hours talking. Then, however, we actually parted ways, since Megan was going home for the Summer, and Mark was traveling with his team. Fast forward to beginning of August, Megan was back in town and Mark had a stretch of home games, so we met up for dinner, and were inseparable for the last 2 weeks of Mark’s season. We decided to continue dating, even though Mark was moving to Southern Illinois to coach a junior college baseball team, and Megan was finishing up her nursing degree. Now 3 years later here we are, and cannot wait for our future together.
