Mark and Justina first met at a typical Slavic event, known as a conference. For Mark, it was love at first sight, though Justina was unaware at the time. She began noticing him in crowds but believed there was no chance of anything happening—it was just another conference. The more she saw him, the more she developed a crush. That evening, they went to a friend’s house after the conference, where everyone gathered. Justina and her friends were sitting on the couch when she saw Mark and his friend talking, so she decided to invite them over. Justina started asking more personal questions and getting to know Mark better. After everyone left, the group decided to head to Wawa, a gas station in Florida. As they continued talking, Justina had to leave to get some rest before the conference the next day. On her drive home, Mark texted her, saying she shouldve stayed longer. They ended up chatting the whole night. The next day, both Mark and Justina knew something was happening between them, but they made sure to keep it under wraps from others. After the conference ended, Mark had to return to North Carolina, but they stayed in touch through texts, and soon Mark asked for her social media handles. Mark and Justina eventually fell in love, realizing there was no one better suited for each other. Although the journey wasn’t always smooth due to the long distance and conflicting schedules, they made it work. Justina was on a girls trip when Mark decided to surprise her with a proposal. She had no idea it was coming and was completely blown away.
