Getting to Onteora Mountain House by Car
Onteora is located in the heart of the Catskill State Park, 100 miles north of New York City, and 50 miles south of Albany. It is 8 miles from the village of Woodstock and 16 miles from Kingston and the NYS Thruway.
Please enter 96 Piney Point Rd. Boiceville, NY 12412 if using GPS.
From the NYS Thruway (I- 87) at exit 19 (Kingston):
Take the first right at the rotary (Rte 28 west). Continue 15 miles to the town of Boiceville
Pass the high school complex and take the first right onto Piney Point Rd. Proceed up the mountain for a mile. On the right you will see our sign and, set back, a large wooden gate
From Woodstock (an 8 mile trip):
Take Rte 212 west
At Bearsville 212 turns right; fork left onto Rte 45. After 2.5 miles, pass the Wittenburg Store and immediately turn left onto Coldbrook Road. Cross the town line into Olive and proceed 1/2 mile to our sign and gate on the left

A limited number of double rooms have been blocked at this recently remodeled lodge in the heart of Woodstock, with complimentary breakfast. Larger suites are available for those traveling with more than 2 people (but please note that these have not been blocked and do cost more). A charming B&B near the center of town with reasonably priced standard rooms in a 1940′s motel style structure (PLEASE book fast, as there are a limited number!). Complimentary breakfast. Larger rooms and cottages also available at higher rates.
By Public Transportation
Trailways offers inexpensive and frequent bus service from New York City's Port Authority to both Kingston and Woodstock (depending on where you are staying). Car rental is available in Kingston.
On Amtrak, the nearest train station is Rhinecliff, but this is still a 30 min drive to Woodstock or 20 min to Kingston.. Take the Empire Service Line from Penn Station to Rhinecliff-Kingston.
Rhinebeck Taxi is conveniently located at the train station or rent a car from Enterprise-Rent-a-Car, which will meet you at the train station. Visit Amtrak for more info.

The shuttle will arrive at Onteora Mountain House (96 Piney Point Road, Boiceville) at 4pm (right on time!)
The shuttle bus will depart from the reception at 10:00pm, and will return guests to each of the hotels listed above, as well as the after-party.

The Woodstock area hosts a number of boutique hotels. We recommend The Dylan Hotel ($289 - $399/night depending on room capacity) and The Graham & Co. ($175 - $285/night depending on room capacity).
Both are relatively near to the wedding venue.
