A total of 10 King & 10 Queen rooms have been blocked for our out-of-town guests. Rooms not booked by September 19th, 2024 will be released from the room block and not guaranteed to be available for our guests.
Unfortunately, the hotel cannot promise an early check-in prior to 3pm. It all depends on vacancy the night prior and how fast house keeping can attend to all the rooms. We recommend arriving to the hotel ready to go to the wedding. The hotel has a small room where they can store a few bags for guests uncomfortable leaving items in their vehicles. After the wedding the front desk will be able to retrieve your bags and get you into your hotel room.
There are 2 restaurants (Grottos, Crooked Hammock) within walking distance from the hotel that gives a discount to hotel guests!
Birdies also recently opened and is also in walking distance from the hotel!

House Rentals:
Unfortunately there are not many house rentals in Middletown, DE near the hotels. The closest house rentals are in Chesapeake City, MD. Chesapeake City is Kara’s hometown. While very beautiful with lots of shops, food, and nice views on the water, we caution that getting Ubers/Lyfts OUT of the area is quite difficult at times. Please research ride options and consider using a planned taxi service if you consider booking a rental in this area.
