Dean lived in Charlotte, NC at the Element Apartments.

Lauren Keegan and I had gotten jobs in Charlotte for a solar company. She and I searched for apartments online and ultimately decided on the Element Apartments. On the day I was there to sign my lease fate stepped in I guess you could say.

Dean had come down to the front desk to pick up a package.. I was of course in the leasing office (all glass). He said he saw me and needed to know who I was. With a some what brief intro he proceeded to ask for my number so that he could help me move in and also take me to dinner. He was persistent because he didn't get a yes on the first try.. we literally just met as you know. With a seemingly long elevator ride up to my floor he asked again, stating that we would of course be seeing each other anyway living in the same building and who doesn't like a free meal. lol. Good point! Within 20min my phone dinged. yep it was Dean, asking what I was doing. I responded, "about to head to target". He immediately said that he would go with me. However, I was no where near ready for that haha. I told him that I needed all the space I could get in my car and that he'd have to drive separate . (I didn't want to get in a strangers car truthfully lol)

Target was funny, shopping for home goods with a guy I just met. literally HA!

We did end up going to dinner that night! And spent every day together following... I would go to work and come home to find that he had set up his play station in my room..sure make yourself at home!! lol. He would take my dog out for me when I couldn't take him to work. The concierge took notice and he got a key haha. After about 2-3 weeks his clothes slowly started making there way into my place and I'll never forget the day I came home and him and his friend Lou were in my bed playing video games. I knew that was it! We never looked back!
