Our Wedding

Andrew and Marlee met four years before they started dating. It was Marlee's cousin's birthday and her cousin's friend invited Andrew, a friend from college, over. It was the end of the night and Marlee was quite busy making late-night breakfast tacos for everyone. While Andrew was impressed with her cooking, Marlee was oblivious to his charms and fell asleep on the couch shortly after. Morning came and the two parted ways cordially until four years later. Again, Marlee's cousin was the glue that brought Marlee and Andrew together. It was the night before her wedding and her Maid of Honor was throwing a little party. College friend Andrew showed up again, much earlier this time, and Marlee wondered how she did not notice how cute he was the first time around. They reminisced over their brief introduction so many years ago and got to talking about everything and nothing deep into the night until it was time for everyone to go home. And so he left her life once again without any plans for a future rendez-vous. However, like the modern man he is, Andrew soon requested to follow Marlee on Instagram and directly messaged her to tell her how cool he always thought she was and ask whether she'd like to have a drink with him sometime. While surprised at the length of time it took him to finally ask her out, Marlee was intrigued and excited, and so she accepted. They met at a cozy bar in downtown Santa Ana and one drink turned into a nearly five-hour date. Their close conversation was abruptly interrupted by the overhead lights of the closing bar and the two slowly walked to Marlee's car where Andrew kissed her on the street and left her feeling like the trajectory of her entire life had been forever changed from that moment. In September 2020, Marlee and Andrew took a road trip from California to Montana to celebrate an amazing first year of being together. They visited Glacier National Park and, on a single paddle board together, floated in the middle of Lake McDonald, taking in the stillness of the glassy emerald water and the beauty of the surrounding mountains. Almost exactly two years later, Andrew and Marlee were again floating on this same lake when Andrew told her he wanted to do this with her forever and asked her to marry him. He slipped a ring on her finger with a sapphire the color of the emerald water below them. Almost exactly one year later, they will marry in Montana in front of their friends and family.

Parking 

- Please try to carpool with other guests if possible to avoid any backup.- See map <a href="https://ibb.co/G0JwDyw" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>. The yellow areas along Frontage Rd are for diagonally parking - front in first. The red area is an overflow lot.- Before the wedding, look out for the groom's brother, Brian Le, who is helping to direct parking.

Uber and Lyft

- Uber and Lyft are available in the area.- We highly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to enjoy yourself responsibly at our wedding.- Scheduling your ride in advance through the app is a great way to avoid any rush.- We've secured a driver named Raymond that you can schedule rides with in advance. Call or text him at 406-270-8839. We've negotiated the price of the ride fare at $40 from Whitefish to Columbia Falls (10 miles). He may increase the ride fare if your distance is more. He accepts cash and Venmo. Feel free to tip!

- Allegiant is a budget airline that offers direct flights in and out of Montana only on Sundays and Thursdays.- Begin monitoring flights as soon as possible. Signing up from apps/Sites like Hopper or Skyscanner is a great way to alerted when airfare drops.

Glacier National Park

- Glacier National Park will implement a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/gtsrticketedentry.htm" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">vehicle reservation system</a>&nbsp;in the summer of 2023. From 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., a vehicle reservation is required for four areas of the park: Going-to-the-Sun Road, the North Fork, Two Medicine, and Many Glacier.- NOTE: You do not need a reservation to visit the park after 3 p.m.- In addition to a vehicle reservation, a park pass or entrance fee is required to enter the park.&nbsp;A vehicle reservation does not include a park pass, and the park pass does not serve as a vehicle reservation. Each location has unique details and requires a separate reservation.
