Kevin and Marlee both grew up in Pittsburgh but on different sides of the river. After college, Kevin moved down to Charleston, West Virginia for his first job, and Marlee returned back to Pittsburgh.


After Covid hit, Kevin was granted the opportunity to work from home and quickly took advantage to move Pittsburgh again and got a house in Southside. Kevin and Marlees paths finally crossed on Saturday, October 24th 2020 when Kevin was invited to one of Marlees parties through a mutual friend. Marlee attended the pregame at Kevins house that night and as soon as she saw him walk down the stairs, she knew she had to talk to him! She made the first move as soon as they arrived to the party by asking Kevin to be her beer pong partner, and he said yes! That was the start of their love story, and they were at each others side every day since!


Through the almost 4 years of traveling, golfing, weekend adventures around the burgh, and laughing their way in each moment, they knew they were meant to be together forever. Now it was time for Kevin to get his yes! He crafted a story with his sisters to get us to the Point on Friday, June 21st by stating their grandpa wanted pictures there with his grandkids. When they got to the fountain, Kevin dropped to his knee and popped the question. Without hesitation, Marlee said yes!


They are looking forward to July 19th, 2025 to start their next journey as Mr. and Mrs. Rush!
