My fiancé and I first crossed paths on December 31st, 2019, at a lively New Years party. As the host shuffled through music to set the vibe, he inadvertently skipped one of our favorite artist Post Malone. We both shouted "Nooo don't skip" at the same time. We exchanged glances and shared a laugh, oblivious to the unfolding twist of fate.

Seated next to me was a girl just enjoying the party, she was amused by our synchronized reaction. She leaned into me and asked me something I was not expecting. She asks, " Do you think he is cute ?" shy yet intrigued, I nervously smiled and admitted. " yeah, I think so".

The girl did something bold and unexpected. Mind you, I have no idea who this girl is. She seized the moment, snatching his phone and passing it to me. "Here, put your number in his phone," she urged. In a short moment of total shock by the turn of events, I complied, and sure enough put my number in his phone.

Little did I know, that seemingly impulsive act would mark the beginning to a beautiful journey together. And as they say, the rest is history.
