Marley and Dawson first met each other when they were really young at her Uncle Brian and Aunt April’s house. At first, they disliked each other because she thought he was an annoying boy running around playing Nurf guns with her little cousins, while he thought she was a mean girl that picked on him.

Years later, they would have two classes together in middle school, Spanish and gym. Dawson noticed Marley first, constantly asking to use her art supplies just to try to get her to talk in Spanish class, while in their other class they shared, things did not hit it off at first. Marley and Dawson got into a little… disagreement in gym class because Dawson is hyper-competitive and Marley couldn’t care less about softball, refusing to participate and throw the ball back to Dawson, causing a little shouting match mid-game at the softball field.

Then a couple more years later they would go on to meet again at high school orientation, where Dawson would take a liking to how gorgeous and funny Marley is once they actually started talking to each other. They would have gym class together again their freshman year, to which Dawson would fall in love with her more and more every day, constantly flirting with her in gym class, seeing if he could make the quiet girl laugh. But after months of flirting, Dawson would finally get the courage to pop the question to ask her out, after a lot of guys in gym class hyped him up. He planned it perfectly so that if she said no, he had a Spanish party right after so he could eat food and be happy again. After gym class, Dawson popped the question walking in the hall, to which Marley said, “I don’t know, lol, and then they went their separate ways, Dawson up the stairs and Marley down the hall. When Dawson got to Spanish class, he looked at his phone and got a text from Marley saying, “Do you want to go out? Lol”. They have been happily in love and best friends ever since freshman year. High school sweethearts.
