Pascal and Marlie's story began in the youth ministry at Humility Church of God. Pascal served on the board as the treasurer while Marlie was on the worship team, singing background during second Sunday services and at a Gospel Jam held some years ago. Fun fact: they were baptized together but weren’t yet acquainted. Marlie, who has always been introverted, often found herself being teased by Pascal who tried to bring her out of her comfort zone (a tradition he continues to this day, lol). Their friendship did not progress when Marlie moved out of state to pursue her college degree, though Pascal always checked in to extend his well-wishes.

In 2021, Marlie moved back home permanently after graduating, and Pascal decided to pursue her in courtship. After seeking God’s guidance and getting to know each other through late-night talks, they began dating. Their connection grows stronger with each passing day, as they pour into each other’s passions through love, prayer, and support. On February 11, 2024, Pascal proposed, and Marlie said yes! Now they’re getting married!

They are overjoyed to begin this new chapter together, with God at the center of their union.
