What began as an online connection quickly blossomed into a love grounded in faith, laughter, and a deep sense of home in one another.

Our bond was instant. We connected over our shared love for God, the importance of family, and of course, good food. Our very first date was simple and sweet: Marcus showed up to Marlissa’s job and whisked her away to Chipotle for lunch. It wasn’t about the place — it was about the company. And from that day on, we’ve been inseparable.

Over the past two years, we’ve built something truly special, a relationship rooted in love, support, and the desire to grow together. Whether we’re worshipping side by side, hosting family and friends, or cheering each other on from the sidelines, we’ve found joy in every little moment.

Marcus planned the perfect surprise proposal in front of the High Museum in Midtown Atlanta with the help of Marlissa’s best friends, Summer and Keshell (who captured it all so beautifully). What Marlissa thought was just a fun Galantine's weekend turned into the most unforgettable moment of our lives.

We’re most excited to stand before the people we love and promise forever, to celebrate two hearts becoming one, and two families joining together in love.
